Provide technology performance data, communicate new/strategic research needs, profile demonstrators, etc.
Establish communities of practice, run technology scans for early adoption of promising technologies, matchmaking, etc.
Determine fit for purpose.
WADER Will Not
Aside from small scale studies/projects to achieve the WADER mandate.
Accredit/certify technologies, individuals and/or organisations
Collaborate with the South African Bureau of Standards where necessary
Collaborate instead with relevant downstream innovation system players to achieve commercialisation.
